Data Protection

Information Obligation Statement

The protection of your personal data is especially important to us. Therefore we process your data solely on the basis of legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In these privacy notices we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with Us

If you contact us via the website form or e‑mail, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of handling the request and for any follow‑up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Data Storage

We point out that, for a smoother purchasing process and later contract fulfilment, the webshop operator stores the subscriber’s IP data in cookies, as well as the buyer’s name, address and e‑mail address.

What We Collect and Store

While you browse our website, we record:

  • Viewed products: We show you products you have looked at recently.
  • Location, IP address and browser type: Used for purposes such as estimating taxes and shipping costs.
  • Shipping address: We will ask you to provide it so that we can calculate shipping fees before you place an order and deliver the order to you.

We also use cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart while you navigate the site.

When you shop with us, we will ask you for information such as your name, billing and shipping address, e‑mail address, telephone number, credit‑card/payment details, and optional account information such as username and password. We use this information for the following purposes:

  • Sending you account and order information.
  • Responding to your enquiries, including refunds and complaints.
  • Processing payments and preventing fraud.
  • Setting up your account for our shop.
  • Complying with all legal obligations, e.g., tax calculation.
  • Improving our shop offerings.
  • Sending marketing messages, if you wish to receive them.

If you create an account with us, we store your name, address, e‑mail address and telephone number. These details are used for future orders to pre‑fill payment information.

We generally retain your information for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected and as required by law. For example, we keep order information for tax and accounting reasons. This includes your name, e‑mail address, and billing and shipping addresses.

We also store comments or reviews if you choose to leave them.

Who on Our Team Has Access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide. For instance, both administrators and shop managers can access:

  • Order details such as purchased products, purchase date, and shipping address.
  • Customer details such as your name, e‑mail address, and billing/shipping information.

Our team members use this access to process orders, issue refunds, and support you.

What We Share With Others

We share information with third parties that help us provide your orders and services. Examples include postal or delivery services so that your goods reach you.

Payments

We accept payments via PayPal. During payment processing some of your data is passed to PayPal. Only the information necessary for processing the transaction—such as total purchase price and payment details—is transferred.

We reiterate that, for a smoother checkout and later contract fulfilment, the webshop operator stores the subscriber’s IP data in cookies, together with the buyer’s name, address and e‑mail address.

Furthermore, for contract fulfilment we also store the ordered items and the payment method. The data you provide is required for contract performance or pre‑contractual measures. Without this data we could not conclude the contract. Data is not transferred to third parties except for:

  • Credit‑card details to the banks/payment processors for charging the purchase price.
  • The transport/shipping company for delivering the goods.
  • Our tax adviser for meeting tax‑law obligations.

If the purchase process is aborted, the stored data is deleted. In case of a concluded contract, all data from the contractual relationship is retained until the statutory tax‑record‑keeping period expires (seven years).

Your Rights

You generally have the rights to obtain information, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection regarding the data we store about you. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data‑protection law or that your data‑protection rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with us or with the data‑protection authority.
